Tracy used to water the previous lawn by hand by moving sprinkler every few minutes in order for it to maintain its green color – very time consuming and it turned brown anyway during hot summers. Wanting to have a low maintenance yard with a “cool” factor, Tracy designed a beach theme using decomposed granite as the majority of the base then used plants that would go along with the theme. The design features a decorative boat with annual potted flowers and a “sail” that could be changed out seasonally. Using drip system, Tracy achieved a low maintenance and water smart yard to be proud to display.
